W at top of splint, 9-1/2 in.W at foot; use in aircraft requires monitoring splint pressure; keep only enough pressure to rigidly support limb; moderate pressure w/thumb will cause only a slight dent when pressed against splint; splints air transported should be kept inflated below 50 mm hg.
