General Description

If retaining plate remains with the 1st stage disk at removal, verify hydraulic cylinder is extended and jaw of tool are closed together, with a rocking motion insert tool in position between the disk and retainer web so thatit will push in an axial direction.Attach pump and actuate-cylinder.If the retainer remains with the 2nd turbine disk, insert tool with jaws collasped between disk and retainer web.Attach pump and proceed to remove retainer
