General Description
Shall determine, as a , gestational age based on biparietal diameter, crown-rump length, head circumference, abdominal circumference & femur length; shall determine estimated fetal weight & estimated date of delivery; shall have capability of supporting video frame grabbing to provide a gateway for ultrasound teleradiology or preferably a dicom output. Shall include a monitor to display images, measurements & scan parameters and shall have the capability of printing hardcopy images to either film or paper. The electrical characteristics shall be consistent with the requirements contained in the latest edition of specification mil-d-42048. Shall have external dimensions consistent w/portable requirements for shared utilization within or across healthcare facilities.
