Composed of knitted fabrics that are flexible, ninimally adhering, antimicrobial silver plated fabric; knitted fabric is composed of pure nylong base fiber that is 100% covered uniformly and circumferentially with a thin coat of pure metallic silver; open knit pattern in fabric permits passage of oxygen and fluids to and from the wound surface. The silver provides effective antimicrobial action of the dressing and functions as an antimicrobial barrier.
