Functional Description

Rrequried to polish 1st stage turbine disk p/n 4085001 to restore disk inner bore and web surface for eddy current inspection. Adapter is used with the turbine disk installed in pwa71908 fixture mounted on pwa 71991 polish machine rotary table with disk aft flange up. Adapter consists of a tool body that connects to apolish machine arm at one end and has a pad holder end for retaining adhesive velcro pads and fine or ultra-fine scotch brite polishing gf100-pw-229 engine
