Functional Description

Nadapter is required to polish 1st stage turbine disk p/n 4085001 to restore disk aft arm surface for eddy current inspection (eci). Adapter is usedwith the turbine disk installed in pwa 71908 fixture mounted on pwa71991 polish machine rotary table with the diskaft flange "up". Adapter consists of a tool body that connects to a polish machine arm on one end and has a pad holder end for retaining adhesive velcro pads and fine or ultra fine scotch brite polishing pads
